Settings for all forms
Settings for all forms saves you typing the same things into every form. Set your sender name once, and give each new form its receiving addresses and thank-you message from the start.
Steps
- Click Settings for all forms in the menu on the left.
- Fill in the boxes (see below).
- Click Save settings.
The settings
- Sender name: the name response emails come from, for example your business name. The emails are sent from Formhub's own email address, but your inbox shows this name. It starts as "Formhub".
- Default receiving addresses for new forms: the email addresses that get each response. Separate several addresses with commas.
- Default thank-you message: what people see after they send a form. It starts as "Thank you. Your form has been submitted."
Good to know
- The receiving addresses and thank-you message are copied into each new form when you create it, including forms added from the form library. Some library forms come with their own thank-you message.
- Changing these settings doesn't change forms you already have. To change one form, open its Form settings.
- The sender name applies to response emails from all your forms straight away.
- For where responses go and what the email holds, see Where responses go.
The same page can also show these sections:
- Take payments in forms: connect your own Stripe account to take card payments. See Take card payments in a form.
- Check work rights (Home Affairs): connect your Home Affairs access to check job applicants' work rights. See Set up work rights checks.
If these aren't part of your package, the section says so. See Packages and billing.
