Add a company

A company is a business profile in Formhub. It has its own name, logo and colour, and its own forms. Every form belongs to a company, so you need at least one before you Create a Form.

Steps

1. Click Add company in the menu on the left (or + Add company on an empty dashboard).
2. Type the Company name.
3. Under Brand colour, click one of the colours, or click + to pick any colour.
4. Under Logo, click Choose a logo or drag your logo onto the box. Use a PNG, JPG or WebP picture, up to 2 MB.
5. Check the preview at the top. It shows how the company will look on your dashboard.
6. Click Add company.

The company now has its own card on your dashboard.

Change a company

1. On the company's card on the dashboard, click Edit company.
2. Change the name, colour or logo. To take the logo off, click Remove logo.
3. Under Form letterhead, you can add a header and footer for the company's forms and PDFs. See Add your letterhead.
4. Click Save.

Delete a company

Deleting a company deletes all its forms, responses and uploaded files, and the forms' links stop working. It can't be undone, so Formhub makes you download everything first.

1. Click Edit company and scroll down to Delete company.
2. Under Step 1. Download everything, click Download everything (.zip). The zip holds every form, a responses spreadsheet, and each response's PDF and uploaded files.
3. Under Step 2. Delete, type the company name exactly as shown.
4. Click Delete company and all its forms.

If a response comes in or a form changes after your download, download again before delete unlocks.

Good to know

• The company's logo shows at the top of its forms and response PDFs. If the company has a letterhead header, the header shows instead.
• A form uses the company's colour unless you choose another colour in Form settings.
• How many companies you can have depends on your package. If you reach the limit, Formhub tells you. See Packages and billing.
• To use a form for another company, duplicate it or copy it to that company.
