Share a form by link
Every form has its own link. Send it to the people who need to fill in the form: they open it in any browser, on a phone or a computer, and don't need a login.
Copy the link from the dashboard
- On your Dashboard, find the form in its company's list.
- Press the link button (the chain icon) next to Responses.
- You'll see Copied for a moment. The link is now ready to paste into an email, a text message, a calendar invite or a document.
Copy the link from Publishing details
- Open the form's Publishing details. You can get there from the tab at the top of the form's pages, from the form's ⋯ menu, or with Publishing in the form builder.
- Under Form link, press Copy.
- To check what applicants will see, press Open ↗. The form opens in a new tab.
Good to know
- The link looks like formhub.me/f/ followed by a short code. It doesn't show your company's name.
- The link stays the same when you edit or rename the form, so you can keep improving a form after you've shared it.
- Changes you make in the builder only reach the live form after you press Save.
- A form copied with Duplicate / copy to company gets a new link of its own. The old link keeps pointing to the original form.
- If the form is turned off, the link still opens but shows "This form is not accepting responses at the moment." See Turn a form on or off.
- A form with no questions yet shows "This form is being prepared. Please check back soon."
- Before you send the link, check how the form looks with See your form on a phone.
