Read, search and filter responses

Each form has a Responses page listing everything that has come in, newest first. You can search, filter by any column and open each response in full.

Open the responses

  • On your Dashboard, press Responses next to the form, or click its response count.
  • Or use View responses on the form's ⋯ menu, the Responses tab, or Responses in the form builder.

Responses nobody has opened yet are marked New. Opening one removes the mark.

Search and filter

  • Search all columns: type a word, name or number in the box at the top and press Search. It looks through every answer, the date and the response number.
  • Column filters: under each column heading there's a small box. Type in it and the list narrows after a short pause, or press Enter. Use several boxes together, for example a surname in one and a date in another. Dates show as day/month/year (17/10/2026), so type them the same way.
  • Clear (in the filter row) removes the column filters. Clear all removes the search and the filters.
  • The page shows how many responses match, for example "12 of 240 responses".

Sort

Click a column heading to sort by it. Click it again to reverse the order. An arrow shows which column is sorted.

Look at one response

  1. Click the date of the response, or press View.
  2. The response shows laid out like the form, with every answer.
  3. Click an uploaded file to open it. Photos and PDFs open in your browser; other files download.
  4. Use ‹ Previous and Next › to move through responses, or ← All responses to go back.

At the top you'll also see the response number, when it was sent, the IP address, whether the email went out and, where it applies, the payment and the person's staff folder.

Good to know

  • The list shows 25 responses per page. Use Next › for more.
  • On a phone, some question columns are hidden to save room. Open a response to see every answer.
  • If you change a form, questions you removed keep their own columns, so older answers aren't lost.
  • The filters stay in the page address, so you can bookmark a filtered list.
  • Delete this response, at the bottom of a response, removes its answers and uploaded files for good.

To save responses to your computer, see Download responses as PDF or CSV.
