Let Yasmene build or check your form

In the form builder, Yasmene can add questions to your form for you, or look the whole form over and suggest fixes. You see every change on the form first and decide whether to keep it.

Ask her to build something

1. Open the form in the builder.
2. In the Yasmene bar at the top of the form, type what you want, for example "Add an emergency contact section" or "Make the phone number mandatory".
3. Press Build it.
4. The new or changed questions are highlighted on the form, with a short note on what she did.
5. Press Keep to keep the changes, or Undo to put the form back as it was.
6. Press Save to make the changes live.

You can also ask in the Ask Yasmene chat. When she offers ✦ Do it for me, press it and she builds it the same way.

Get a form check-up

1. In the builder, press ✓ Form check-up.
2. Yasmene looks over the form and gives it a score out of 100, with a short list of things worth fixing and a few things done well.
3. For each thing to fix, you may see:
   • A fix button, such as Add it or Fix it: makes the change on the form. Then press Keep or Undo.
   • Show me: points to the question it's about.
   • Choose who: opens the box for the email addresses that get the responses.
   • Ignore: hides it in later check-ups of this form, in this browser. To see ignored items again, press "show again" at the bottom.
4. Press Check again after your changes, then Save.

What she can and can't change

• She can add questions and sections, move questions, and change a question's wording, Mandatory, help text, hint, list of options, smallest and largest numbers, width, and when it shows or hides.
• She can't remove anything. To remove a question, select it and press Delete yourself.
• She can't change the form's name, colour, emails or other settings. Use Form settings for those.

Good to know

• Nothing is live until you press Save. The Save button flashes after you keep a change, as a reminder.
• Building and check-ups count towards your account's Yasmene questions for the month. Pressing a fix button in a check-up doesn't.
• Check her work before saving, as you would with any helper. To change a question by hand, see Add and edit questions.
